Something to think about...

How do thaughts work. What is going on inside your brain while you are thinking. As you experiance things thousands of nurons are firing in your brain, this sequence of firing represents the experiance in your mind. However thoughts are different there is no external stimuli causing you to experiance something, instead the stimuli is coming from within. I beleve that our brains in addition to nurons firing with external stimuli are constany firing randomly. This random firing will occasionaly match up with a previous experiance, and your brain will generate a thought derived from the combination of the previous experiance and the random firing of nurons.

Based on this theory our brain is just a chemical reaction and thoughts and ideas are generated by random chance.

Maybe light does change speed after all

As per Einsteins theories the speed of light is a constant while time, space, matter and energy can be streached, twisted and converted. Einstein also talks about perspective and frames of refrence.
Based on our perspective of the universe, in all our observations light always has a constant speed.
But speed is made up of two elements, distance and time. What if time was the constant and not light?

I see 10 dimensions, how meny do you see?

What is a dimension? My definition of a dimension is information required to discribe a point in space and time.

Think of space as a 3D array of these points of space and time (we will call them pixels for this blog). With the size of a pixel being equivelant to the smallest divisable amount of space. What is the information required to discribe an individual pixel?

- The first three dimensions discribe the location of the pixal along the x, y, z planes.
- Since we know space can be streached the next three dimensions discribe the length, width, height of the pixel. Note that even though this is the smallest divisable amount of space each pixel can be a different size depending on how space is streached.
- Since we know space can bend the next three dimenstions discribe tilt, pitch, yaw.
- The last dimension is time.

Are you optimistic or pessimistic?

Is the glass half full or half empty? I say just drink what's there and enjoy it. Then complain about the glass being empty.

How big is the smallest nothing?

For thousands of years people have been on a quest to determine what the smallest particle is. We went from atoms, to (protons, nutrons and electrons), to quarks, with no end in site. However I pose the following question to the scientific community, if you took a piece of space and kept dividing it, how small would the smallest piece of space be before you had nothing? I wonder if anyone has ever looked at space as being finite.

The 6 senses?

Everyone knows about the 5 senses, Sight, Sound, Smell, Taste and Touch. But what about the ability for us to detect thermal variation in our environment without actualy using any of the standard 5 senses that we normaly talk about. This is something that just crossed my mind this moarning. However if more thought were put into this I am sure there are even more senses that we as humans have not considered yet.
