The 6 senses?

Everyone knows about the 5 senses, Sight, Sound, Smell, Taste and Touch. But what about the ability for us to detect thermal variation in our environment without actualy using any of the standard 5 senses that we normaly talk about. This is something that just crossed my mind this moarning. However if more thought were put into this I am sure there are even more senses that we as humans have not considered yet.

To expand on this thought based on 1giantloser's comments...

Do you realy need to touch something in order to feel wether or not something is hot or cold. One can use the argument that the air molicules are touching your skin and that is what is giving you the sensation of temperature. However an interesting expirement would be wether an individual is able to feel changes of temprature in a total vacume. i.e. is one able to feel the warmth of the sun with their arm sticking out in the void of space?
